Welcome to the Book Lovers’ Book List.

We chose the name, Book Lovers’ Book List,  because we love books and everything to do with them.

Here on the website we’ll be listing, reviewing and sharing some of our favourite reads with you as well as introducing you to some old and new titles we hope you’ll enjoy.

And, as former journalists who between us have extensive experience of working on national and regional papers and magazines, and in public relations, we’ll also be passing on some of the things we’ve learned after a lifetime as professional writers.

More recently we’ve worked in higher education, teaching journalism to undergraduate and postgraduate students – Susan (pictured left) at Leeds Trinity and Sue (on the right) at Sheffield Hallam.

We’ve been friends for 30 years and have already written two successful journalism text books together (both published by Sage):

Our first novel, A Falling Friend, was published in Spring 2016 and its follow up, A Forsaken Friend, arrived in 2018. The third story in the Friends trilogy, A Forgiven Friend, was published in 2019. (See Our Books for more.)
